Who we are

Invoice Generator by FieldHive ("the tool") is provided by FieldHive Ltd (company number 16741717), Ye Olde Post Office, Woodshop Lane, Swarkestone, Derby, DE73 7JA, United Kingdom ("FieldHive", "we"). Contact: contact@fieldhive.com.

By using the tool you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What the tool does

It helps you create invoice documents inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude: it calculates totals and tax from the figures you enter, shows a preview and creates a PDF. It does not send invoices, take payments, or store invoices in an account. It is free to use.

Your responsibilities

• Check every invoice before you send it. You are responsible for the details on your invoices and for meeting the invoicing and tax rules that apply to your business. The tool follows published tax-authority guidance for the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada; for other countries it has not been independently checked. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice.
• Only enter details you're entitled to use, and don't use the tool to create false or misleading invoices or for anything unlawful.
• Don't try to disrupt, overload, scan for weaknesses in, or reverse engineer the service.

Availability

We provide the tool "as is". We aim to keep it running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time. Drafts are deleted 2 hours after your last change and PDF links expire after 30 minutes, so download anything you need to keep.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, because the tool is free, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or revenue, or losses caused by errors on an invoice you did not check, and our total liability to you is limited to £100.

If you use the tool as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

How we handle information is described in our privacy policy.

The AI assistant you use

Your use of ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant is governed by that provider's own terms. FieldHive is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
